An underground artist for over a decade, J. Cush is an experienced crowd pleaser spanning numerous techno and house genres into a bass heavy style that draws people in his groove. Jon fell head first into techno, house, and trance in the early nineties and spent quite a bit of time dancing the night away in the desert outside Phoenix. While in college, Jon began Djing using his roomates Gemini PT-200's and two channel mixer. Fast forward through eight years of practice, refinement of his sound, and shuffling around the U.S. in search of a place to set roots, J. Cush landed in San Diego in 2006.

He was quickly introduced to the San Diego Burning Man community and became a frequent attendee of Southern California events. Along the way, he got turned on to the sounds of the Pocket Underground and in true J. Cush fashion, pestered the crew until they couldn't say no.

Since then, he has continued to weave his sound through a myriad of genres, like a chef experimenting with new tastes and flavors to share. J. is known for bringing the requisite vibe to any timeslot. From daytime deep house parties to 3:00AM minimal techno, he can bring the vibe and the dance.
