After several years as a small forest party, marking an annual celebration of a group of good friends in the LA underground scene, 2006 found Lightning in a Bottle stepping into the realm of full fledged festival at it’s first year at Live Oak campground in Santa Barbara, CA. People streamed in from all over the West coast to celebrate art, music, community and sustainable thinking, key elements of LIB that hold as true today as they did back then.

Lightning in a Bottle has evolved into something much bigger and continues to pave the way for environmental awareness and sustainable large scale events.

idiot Savant is the collaboration between, the techno gods, Jesse Wright and Ron Levy. These two have been devastating dance floors for decades.

After spending time in Laos as a street vender Ron quickly ascended the ranks at JC Penny to become mid-level management in the men's department. He was awarded several placards denoting his exceptional customer service. Jesse pretty much wrote the book on moon walking and still keeps a folded piece of cardboard in his trunk at all times in anticipation for the next epic battle.
